I’ll add to this post at some point, but wanted to get the photo’s published as soon as possible. Glastonbury 2011 was my 6th excursion to the big field in Somerset and was one of the best (although that certainly couldn’t be put down to the weather). I’d have happily swapped the downpour for the first couple of days and an absolute scorcher on Sunday for generic grey skies… although the hot spiced cider with shots of brandy certainly helped.
This was the first year I’d taken my full camera kit, and as you’ll see from the photo’s, we spent a lot of time in alternative areas, such as the cabaret and circus fields. The difference in the reaction you get from performers when you have a ‘proper’ camera instead of a point and shoot is quite incredible!
