SEO Coaching
SEO Coaching: An Overview
Over the last few years I’ve been fortunate enough to work on SEO campaigns of all different sizes. From ‘one man bands’ to internationally recognised brands, I’ve helped people drive their online rankings, generate leads, and ultimately drive revenue through their online presence.
As anyone who has taken even the smallest step into SEO knows, it can be a complete minefield. The goalposts are constantly changing – particularly in recent times – as algorithms change and the task of getting your website to rank becomes more and more difficult. To many it feels like things have reached a point where SEO is starting to become prohibitively complex and expensive, but it really doesn’t have to be that way.
By signing up for my SEO coaching programme you will receive many of the benefits that my clients do when hiring me as a consultant. This includes regular phone or video calls (usually over Skype), a wealth of training materials, ongoing advice on how to manage your SEO, access to my team should you need it, and much more.
The Process
The first step in any training is to ensure that you’re going to get the most you possibly can out of it. As a coach I wouldn’t be doing my job properly if I started the course without first finding out what you’re looking to achieve. With that in mind, the first step will be for you to answer a questionnaire about your website(s), history, aims and goals. From there we’ll go into our initial call which – other than getting to know each other – will give us chance to talk through your requirements and give me the information I need to design your coaching course.
From there it’s a simple case of working out a plan and getting started. Topics will include things like: a general overview of SEO; what’s important from a site perspective; rich snippets; data architecture; content strategies; the importance of links; link building and outreach; link bait; PPC / Adwords; outsourcing; Tools of the trade, and just about anything you can think of in the world of online marketing.
Pricing
To keep things simple I just charge a flat rate of £105/hr whether it’s a Skype call, face to face meeting or email support.
